Quality Academy - Spring 2026
Quality Academy was designed to build a common framework for leading continuous clinical quality improvement. The content is focused on theory and core principles of clinical quality improvement, patient safety, data management and tools clinical leaders can use to improve patient outcomes and patient experience while managing resources. Quality Academy provides participants the strategies and tools necessary to conduct clinical practice improvement projects and use quality improvement methods to manage and integrate clinical and nonclinical processes.
Program Format
Participants attend 6 days of sessions over a several month period and are expected to complete and present a quality improvement project to their colleagues and leaders. Projects are identified with leaders as part of the planning process to support quality improvement priorities. Participants work in teams with support from quality improvement coaches and other resources as needed. Experienced faculty in a variety of disciplines provide consultation and support for this hands-on learning experience. Additional time outside of the scheduled sessions is needed to complete the improvement project.

This program is designed for clinicians, care team leaders and those responsible for clinical quality improvement. Participants are identified by senior leadership.
