Navigating Medical Misinformation - 2026

Medical misinformation is an increasingly common challenge in clinical practice. This interactive session provides clinicians with practical communication strategies for navigating misinformation while preserving trust, maintaining therapeutic relationships and reducing the emotional burden of difficult conversations. Participants will learn and practice the CAVE framework (Curious, Acknowledge, Viewpoint, Explore), apply skills to real-world scenarios and explore approaches that support both patient care and clinician wellbeing.

Target Audience

All physicians, advanced practice clinicians and other healthcare professionals seeking practical strategies for addressing medical misinformation, strengthening patient relationships and reducing the wellbeing impact of challenging clinical conversations.
