HealthPartners Family Medicine Update - Spring 2025

St. Paul, MN US
April 25, 2025

In today’s rapidly changing, dynamic health care environment, the practice of family medicine has become more complex than ever. Not only are clinicians addressing the typical myriad of daily demands associated with the never-ending pursuit to keep current on clinical best practices and emerging treatments, they also increasingly face issues such as unprecedented levels of burnout, resource and staffing constraints, changing and evolving models of care and reimbursement, and structural and system limitations and policies that directly impact the care they provide. Additionally, the demands within a large group practice can cause feelings of isolation and prevent time and space for networking and community building to develop strong support systems and high functioning teams. In order to navigate these challenges clinicians need ongoing training, tools and strategies to maintain competency and nurture connections.

This comprehensive update designed for HealthPartners and Park Nicollet family medicine clinicians will highlight the latest recommendations involving medical specialties routinely encountered in the primary care setting that can be applied immediately into practice. Remaining up-to-date on current trends, best practices and medical skills is imperative for primary care clinicians to provide accessible, cost-effective, and high-quality care that results in better experiences for both patients and clinicians.
