Elevate: Self-Awareness, Perspective, Empowerment

Stillwater, MN US
April 11, 2025

This 6-hour workshop is intended to create space for clinicians to reflect on personal beliefs and values that have shaped who they are today. Becoming grounded in who you are is important to understand how you respond to the changing demands that impact us daily as we care for our patients. You will be given tools that will support you in understanding how you want to be as an individual, within a team, with patients, and as part of a large system. You will have a better understanding of why and how you respond to the environment around you and feel empowered and energized about the work we do to serve our patients.

Section 1: Grounding in Core Values and Beliefs
In this foundational section, participants will explore and reconnect with their core values and beliefs. Understanding what drives you at your core is crucial for maintaining resilience and authenticity in your practice. Through reflective exercises and guided discussions, you will identify and solidify the principles that guide your professional and personal life.

Section 2: Understanding Relationships and Environment
The second section shifts focus to the external environment and interpersonal relationships. Participants will gain tools to better understand the dynamics at play in their interactions with patients, team members and others in their lives. This segment includes strategies for effective communication, conflict resolution and fostering a supportive work environment.

Section 3: Developing Empathy, Setting Boundaries and Intentions
The final section is dedicated to honing empathy, establishing healthy boundaries and setting clear intentions. Participants will learn practical techniques to enhance empathy while protecting their own well-being. We will also focus on creating actionable goals to cultivate a sense of empowerment, energy and joy in the workplace. By the end of this section, you will have a personalized plan to maintain a balanced and fulfilling professional life.
