Annual retreat of geriatric clinicians to discuss pertinent topics and updates. This year's focus will be on orthopedic care in geriatric patients.

Target Audience

Geriatric physicians, nurse practitioners and other axillary staff in Community Senior Care.

Learning Objectives

Following this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Apply strategies to reduce time to surgery, decrease hospital length of stays, and decrease hospital readmission
  • Identify opportunities to increase appropriate medication initiation and prescribing rates, as well as bone density screening orders
  • Describe non-pharm management and locate resources
