Ethics: Clinical Ethics Learning sessions
Target Audience
All learners interested in Clinical Ethics. This is open to healthcare professionals in all areas of healthcare including medicine, nursing, chaplaincy, social work and all patient care. Any healthcare professionals currently doing ethics consultation or considering joining the ethics consultation team.
Learning Objectives
Following this CME activity, participants will be able to:
- Define clinical ethics, concepts and name the steps in the ethics consultations process
- Identify some of the hospital policies involving clinical ethicists and ethics consultation
- Apply strategies to build strong moral arguments and write effective ethics consultation recommendations
