Andrew Kummer, MD, is a Nephrologist at HealthPartners. Dr. Kummer is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine. He attended residency in Internal Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. He had a fellowship in Nephrology through the University of Minnesota. Dr. Kummer is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine-Nephrology.

It was through those experiences that I learned what is involved in caring for people on every level, and developed my respect for nursing staff for being the "front lines" in patient care.
