Dr. Hylwa is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and faculty in dermatology at Hennepin Healthcare and Park Nicollet Health System where she is a physician in the Contact Dermatitis Clinic and Associate Program Director for the HealthPartners Dermatology Residency. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo in New York, graduating with AOA, cum laude, and research honors. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota where she served as chief resident in her final year. Her areas of specialty include contact dermatitis and patch testing, complex medical dermatology, and inpatient dermatology. She is a member of the European Society for Contact Dermatitis and the American Contact Dermatitis Society, previously serving on the Board of Directors. Dr. Hylwa has numerous publications and book chapters on the topic of dermatitis and contact dermatitis.
