Andrea Singh, MD is the Chairperson of the department of Pediatrics at Park Nicollet, a role which she has held since 2016, as well as Co-Chair of the HealthPartners Children’s Health Initiative, a role which she has held since 2017.  In addition, Dr. Singh currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and as well as the Park Nicollet Foundation and Think Small. She is a Pediatric Medical Advisor for Make-A-Wish of Minnesota and serves on the Medical Advisory Board for virtuwell, HealthPartners on-line clinical care platform.  In 2019, Dr. Singh was appointed to the Minnesota Governor’s Childrens Cabinet Advisory Board and during the pandemic, served as a key voice within the state advocating for children. She also continues to see her own patients and loves the opportunity direct patient care provides to help children learn about their own well-being.  Across all of these forums, she has been a strong advocate for addressing the needs of families, enhancement of early child brain development and child mental health supports, addressing racial inequity in health care and the needs of our health care workforce. 

Dr. Singh attended the University of Minnesota for both her undergraduate studies and medical school - earning first a degree in Child Psychology, then her medical degree. She completed pediatric residency training at the Children’s Hospital of Montefiore in the Bronx, NY prior to returning to her home state of Minnesota where she established her practice with Park Nicollet. She is privileged to live in Minnesota with her husband and two teenage sons.
