Dermatology Essentials for Primary Care - 2026

The dermatology department and residency program are hosting a 1-day conference aimed at covering dermatology topics pertinent to primary care providers. This will be primarily lecture-based high yield topics, with a specific focus on diagnosis and management of common dermatologic conditions which are likely to present to primary care. New this year, we will be providing a longer session on dermoscopy, a high-yield tool that can be used in clinic to increase diagnostic accuracy, as requested by previous attendees.
Additionally, before the didactic lectures begin, we are offering a morning workshop on basic dermatologic procedures, including appropriate biopsy and excision techniques to further equip providers with the skills needed to manage common skin conditions effectively. Space is limited!
