Assessment and Treatment of Mental Health Concerns in the Primary Care and Pediatric Setting (EM)

The ECHO Model is a virtual learning program designed to support clinicians caring for children with mental health concerns. Through expert-led sessions and case-based learning, participants build skills to manage complex pediatric behavioral health needs in primary care settings.

Target Audience

HealthPartners/Park Nicollet Pediatric Primary Care Clinicians caring for pediatric patients with behavioral health needs or who may need to support patients as they await specialist appointments.

Learning Objectives

Following this enduring material, participants will be able to:

  • Increase knowledge and comfort in using both stimulant and nonstimulant treatments for ADHD
  • Apply strategies to initiate and maximize use of at least two pharmacologic treatments for depression and/or anxiety
  • Identify the types of therapy that may be beneficial for specific child/adolescent mental health disorders
