Patrick Manning, MD
About me
As an interventional cardiologist, I focus on the invasive diagnosis and management of various cardiovascular conditions. These catheter-based techniques range from performing angiography (detailed X-ray pictures), specialized coronary imaging (intravascular ultrasound) and assessing coronary physiology. When necessary, this also includes performing percutaneous coronary interventions (heart artery stenting) for heart attacks and chronic coronary artery disease. I have undergone training in peripheral vascular diseases, specializing in medical management and interventions for a variety of conditions affecting the arteries and veins. A special interest is treating patients with pulmonary embolism (PE). What I enjoy most about being a cardiologist is the relationships I can form with patients. The ability to assist in diagnosis, medical management and performing interventions is very gratifying.
