About me
My practice centers on interventional cardiology. I use an endovascular (minimally invasive) approach to address a variety of cardiac diseases. These techniques range from using a stent to open a blocked coronary artery in a patient suffering an acute heart attack, to cardiac valve replacement or repair. I did an additional fellowship in structural heart disease, which focused on aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair and other novel devices used to treat patients. These procedures are carried out with a team in the cardiac catheterization laboratory or hybrid operating room.
It is exciting to help patients who are experiencing symptomatic, life-threatening conditions dramatically improve through our procedures. I believe in using a combination of continued education, advancements in health care technology and a team approach to health care delivery whenever possible – this enables us to ensure we get the best result for every patient, every time.
