Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to:

• 1.00 Medical Knowledge MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program
• 1.00 credit toward the CME and/or Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program

Objectives

Regularly attending this series will allow participants to be able to:

• Identify and apply updated clinical guidelines relevant to general surgery practice, including acute care, bariatric and colorectal pathways
• Demonstrate improved coordination and communication across surgical teams and referring departments through shared understanding of protocols and expectations
• Evaluate complex surgical cases using evidence-based approaches discussed during the sessions
• Incorporate standardized tools and workflows (e.g., triage algorithms, post-op care pathways) into daily practice to enhance patient safety and efficiency
